In the horticulture industry drain tanks are an important component of the water treatment installation. Recycling drain water is ever more necessary, for the discharge is subject to more restrictions. The QEP DRP drain tanks are available in various sizes and are always adapted to handle the expected drain volume.
Depending on the positioning of the tank you can choose for a submersible pump or a self-priming centrifugal pump at ground level. This solution works best in situations where the total elevation to the central drain tank is too big.
All drain tanks are equipped with an automated start and stop function for the pump. For security reasons and durability, the pump is always controlled by a contactor and not directly by the electric float switch. A filter tube is included to prevent debris and leafs from going into the pumps and pipes.
